Once a member of the Beaulieu family, you will stay a member for life

Part of the Beaulieu family

Beaulieu Convent School Jersey is a Roman Catholic independent school for girls (coeducational in Sixth Form), founded in 1937 at St Matthew’s Convent, Coin Varin, by a French Roman Catholic Religious Order, the Sisters of the Immaculate Conception.  This Order was itself founded in the early 19th century in  Saint-Méen-le-Grand, Brittany, just south of Saint-Malo, by Mère Saint-Félix (1789-1874). Beaulieu moved to its present site in 1951 with 16 girls and 18 boys of infant school age. In 1999 the Sisters gifted the school, the site and its buildings, via a trust, to the island of Jersey, on the understanding it would remain a Catholic School.  The school is situated canonically in the Diocese of Portsmouth and the school’s Trustees/Governors have responsibility for the Trust.

Many past pupils choose to send their children to Beaulieu or decide to work at Beaulieu themselves. Once you are a member of the Beaulieu family, you will stay a member for life. The close relationship we share with our students, their families and our supporters is very special to us. Joining Beaulieu is the start of a journey for you, your child and your family and we will be with you every step of the way.

'I have made lots of friends. We're regularly moved so that we mix with everyone and not just a few.'
