Our Pre-School provides an inclusive and nurturing environment and introduces the unique Beaulieu ethos that underpins the whole School. Its presence offers the opportunity for the full aged 3 – 19 experience at Beaulieu and the School’s full range of facilities, opportunities and expert teaching are available to ensure a calm and seamless transition to our Reception Class and right up to Sixth Form.
Young minds have a huge capacity for learning and our carefully organised classrooms promote a diverse and rich learning environment where materials are easily accessible. Each child is assigned a key worker, who is also supported by specialist teachers. Pre-School sessions cover Language Development, Nature, Art, Craft, Cookery, Music & Drama, PE & Games, French, History, Geography, Science and even Animal Care and Poetry. The teaching is linked to our Primary curriculum, which encourages children, through fun and play, to become independent and confident. Our priority is to nurture happy, confident children who are well-rounded, inquisitive, kind and respectful to others, more than ready to proudly take the next step into our Primary School.
Our Pre-School welcomes girls aged three, who are turning four within the academic year, and our morning sessions qualify for States Nursery Education Funding.
